…this was actually ok. Low budget as fuck, a bit slow, but still a fairly, solidly put together picture. It’s amazing what a new score, new arrangement of scenes, and added scenes can do to change the tone of a film.

30 years ago today WATERWORLD was released in theaters, producing the true definition of blockbuster excess in its post-apocalyptic ocean adventure thats aged incredibly in the decades since. For a film thats notorious for going over budget every dollar is on the screen from the sets to the stunts.
