Recently read DRAGNET: THE CASE OF THE COURTEOUS KILLER in its original 1958 Pocket Book form (surprisingly, an ebook exists). Richard Deming captures Jack Webb's patter pretty well, but here's a curiosity: he spells "mug shot" as "mugg shot" throughout. Was that spelling a thing?

I'm at GalaxyCon Raleigh in a couple of weeks, so I won't be at San Diego — but a fun memory from there was 2013, when in advance of the KENOBI novel release I was inducted into The Rebel Legion in front of the big Del Rey display. Obi-Wan photobombed nearly every picture I have from that year!
