I think this is in conflict with the scientific evidence about a lateralized linguistic network in the brain that leads to aphasia after brain lesions. The discussion about boundaries is valuable, of course. But we should acknowledge that some brain areas contribute to language only indirectly

The relationships between memory & varieties of #consciousness following Tulving. Noetic consciousness requires semantic memory & autonoetic consciousness requires episodic memory. What about anoetic consciousness? Is it a basic form of sensorimotor awareness requiring procedural memory?

Density maps confirm that spatial locations of salience network nodes were similar in healthy controls and individuals with depression but that network borders extended further outwards from their centroids in each cortical zone in depression (red boxes).

Phenomenological psychopathologists have recently highlighted how people with delusions experience multiple realities (delusional and non-delusional) and have suggested this double bookkeeping cannot be explained via predictive processing.
