A reminder that the Kennedy Center isn’t just a performing arts center, it’s a memorial to President John F. Kennedy and only an evil vindictive vile weak depraved narcissistic pathetic subhuman would spend every waking day trying to deface it and completely destroy it out of spite and jealousy.

As problematic as AI can be, there’s a lot of promise in the coding space. LLMs essentially make math more accessible to people and I’m all for that aspect. We gotta stop framing it as mutually exclusive to human output though. A session is an agent (LLM) + human

I saw someone make the point that rn is actually the best time to get into programming because you don’t have to argue with some random guy on stack overflow anymore and that’s fair. Gate keeping has been a systemic issue in the industry.

This political cartoon by artist Jesse Duquette highlights two distinct moments of political violence in American history:

Tulsa 1921: Refers to the Tulsa Race Massacre, where a white mob destroyed the prosperous Greenwood District.

D.C. 2021: Refers to the January 6th attack on the United States Capitol.

Message: The cartoon argues that these events demonstrate a historical pattern of accountability not being enforced for certain acts of violence.

Don't call it "expanding" SCOTUS. And, for God's sake, don't call it "court-packing." Call it **right-sizing** the Court. (There are 13 circuits now -- not the 9 circuits there were when it was set at 9 justices 157 effing yrs ago!) Or call it *modernizing* the Court. Thank you.

still think word should have died out as a product when this happened
A little snapshot of Word's toolbar on a Mac. On the top row option bar, there's a red circle around the Insert option. In the toolbar, there's a second red circle around the Insert submenu. There are two Insert menus! Why did anyone think that was an elegant design? And where does anything live in either of them? And why does the toolbar hide icons sometimes, depending on the window size? Oh, no, you can't add borders today, sir, because you're looking at on too thin a section of your screen. And why does the toolbar hide labels, when the icons are so random? And why does it give so much space to options no one ever uses, like "make this box entirely orange"? I promise you, in 2003 Word was pretty good and did what it needed to do quickly, except bullet point lists and indents and tabstops, which are presumably relativistic effects

We all hate img’s `sizes` attribute. It’s a workaround for: “A browser can’t know about the space an image will occupy in a layout because it makes decisions about image requests long before it has the information it needs to render that layout” But now there is <img loading=lazy sizes=auto 🥳
