It's been said before but they really should have a PvP and PvE mode for most social media sites. That way the people who just want to post their art and have conversations can do so while the aggro randos who want to argue can all fight it out in the octagon or the gulag or whatever.

I never understood it. I used to be so confused as to how guys could just yuck it up with dudes that humiliated them or actually physically hurt them and then turn around to do it to someone else. I said as much and they were like 'you wouldn't understand'. They were right.

LRP: Looking back, the houses on my campus with the worst reputations with girls were also the ones people said had the most brutal hazing rituals. Meanwhile, the one girls said they felt the safest at was the one that explicitly didn't haze/have pledges.

I believe fraternity hazing and military hazing and sports team hazing where men abuse each other is acclimating them into a broader culture of abuse where they will then believe it is their right to abuse other more vulnerable people. It’s so insidious. And that’s also why I think men defend it
