I was there — i think the groan was for the description of the website that gave the quote more than the actual quote. Though if your piece is 100K words, that’s 4 cents a word, which strikes me as a touch high. If it’s longer / they’re in a major metro area, maybe it’s normal.

Help me out here: I keep seeing this comparison and I don’t get it. Love firefly, thought The Expanse was (don’t be mad) kinda boring. Possible Expanse is for more hardcore sci-fi fans? I’ve always been more F than SF, but i love a western and a heist, so firefly hooked me. Maybe I’m missing it?
