This aligns exactly with what we know about noncitizen voting; it is extremely rare (9 noncitizen votes in MN out of 3,253,920 in the 2024 election, or 0.0002%), and when it occurs it’s most often green card holders who were mistakenly told they could vote (none of these people are undocumented).

Bravo to @hollyjeanbuck.bsky.social and Marika from @ncar-ucar.bsky.social and the rest. When I first met Marika at NCAR in the 00's, I recall she'd never seen sea ice, and I proposed that modelers and Arctic field scientists needed to take a field trip together! If that hasn't happened, maybe now!

That study was impressive—like 2/3 of the amicus briefs in the case were from fossil fuel tied groups. And Alito’s links were clearly grounds for recusal—he’s made $3 million on fossil fuels since being appointed

The GOP cut funding to the IRS because *audits work* and they fundamentally don't believe rich people should have to play by the rules.

When it comes to climate change, the amount of money going to effective solutions matters. After all, we are talking about rebuilding the world. Sadly, money going into climate is way down from a few years ago. In government funding, investing, corporate spending, etc. We need to turn that around.
