Joint fieldwork with the French 'Glacial Archaeology' team led by Eric Thirault allow us to sample subfossil trunks in Beaufortain massif! 🏔️🌲💍 Irony is that one of the trunk stood right in the middle of the path and had been trampled by generations of hikers, who had no idea how old it was! 😲⏳
