This week I gave myself the week off editing to write. I've managed ten chapters and close to 4K per day on average. Next week I'm back to editing, but hope I can at least keep up half that pace. If so, I might finish this next Harker novel this spring.

This whole Trump/Zelensky Oval Office BS reminds me of a time I was called into a meeting with an electrical contractor to negotiate work on a project. Except I wasn't. I was called in there because the contractor waspissed off at me and wanted to yell at me face to face.

I'm back! It's been a hell of a year so far with two cataract surgeries and a "minor procedure" to correct some afib that they found during the second eyeball poking. It's always minor when it happens to somebody else, right?!? I'm recovering well and back to my normal shitposting and cat worship.

We publish some really fucking good books. I just finished reading one - a badass heist novel that morphs into a space opera into a milSF book back into a heist novel with a spicy af sex scene in there, too. The Starlight Contingency by Kyoko M. is a kickass book! www.amazon.com/dp/B0DL3RL7CN

Trans people deserve better than this. They deserve dignity, autonomy, and the same freedom as anyone else to be who they are. We as a culture have failed them, and until Trans folks are free to make their own choices, none of us are.

Well this was nice. We pivoted our social media focus to YouTube this year due to the impending TT ban, and even though it's back, we're steering clear for now, so gaining traction on our YT channel is very gratifying. The channel is 15 years old, but we haven't been consistent with it until now.

I understand that ChatGPT is down and fortunately this is not a problem for me as I have spent considerable time developing a local language model that I am able to run autonomously, fueled by Mountain Dew, incoherent rage, and cats.

If you want to read a new book coming out but don't want to buy it, a great thing you can do is ask your local library to order it. The more requests they get, the more likely they are to acquire it and then lots of people will get to read it who othewise wouldn't.

Hey writer types - when you see a friend posting their setup at a convention, repost it to boost their signal. Who knows when someone might read your post and say "I could do a comic con today"? Then you've helped a friend and follower have a good day.

I just had the most "first-world" whiny-ass thought about getting my eyes fixed. I just got new headshots done about a year ago because I hadn't had new ones since I went from contacts to glasses. Now I won't have glasses anymore. So new headshots. I did say it was a first-world problem.
