I thought there was something wrong with my amp. There was a slight slapback delay, especially when high gain (most of the time.) Checked the tubes, the settings, the power supply. No answer. It was the open-backed cab being too close to the wall. Sound bounced off and created an echo. SCIENCE.

Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines 2 is like Prom Night 2 or Halloween 3 in that it isn't a sequel at all. The movies were dismissed upon release, but I think the game will eventually join them in being reappraised positively.

My family has a waterfront business that caters to tourists. So any holiday where crowds amass meant: 1. we were open 2. a lot of staff wanted off that day, so 3. we had to work those days. So while they can be fun, I feel no loss ignoring them. I didn't really celebrate them growing up.

I feel like the US has proven that a system where political parties are incentivized to march in lockstep has its problems. And the UK has proven that a system where parties are incentivized to eat their own has its problems. And I'm unsure what the answer to this is.
