My understanding is that not only will I break a perfectly functional monitor, I will be ceding Gigs and Gigs of SSD space to AI features that I cannot easily turn off or ignore. A lot of downside for me. A literal gimmie for Apple.

I think if I update my OS, it will brick my drawing monitor. I am staying put for now, but it is ominous how the OS keeps urging me to do it, and presents me with 2 buttons on a daily basis. One is destruction, and the other is the status quo. I have to perform a very conscious action immediately.
