Saddened to hear about Randolph Mantooth's death. His studied interpretation of firefighter & paramedic Johnny Gage saved even more lives off the screen than he did on it: what a marvelous accomplishment for one's life work in any vocation, much less acting. RIP, Mr. Mantooth. tinyurl.com/2we4yc3t

Saddened to hear of the passing of Stephen Dobyns. He was a wonderful writer and teacher whose works inspired me to excel off the page as much as on it. To have read his poetry and prose was a treat. To have had the opportunity to be his student was a sublime honor. RIP.

Behold the nebula goddess—her wings woven from stardust and twilight's hues, a celestial ode in scarlet, sapphire, and indigo.
A digital artwork of a colorful space scene featuring a glowing nebula set against a black, star-filled background. The nebula displays a symmetrical structure resembling a cosmic butterfly, with radiant wings spreading outward from a bright central core. The upper wings glow in fiery shades of orange, red, and yellow, while the lower parts blend into cooler tones of blue, turquoise, and indigo. Wisps of gas and dust stretch into space, surrounded by numerous tiny stars in white and red, creating a striking and harmonious celestial composition.
