OK, to say it more bluntly: The problem you want to avoid is already there (IMHO more urgently in France, although the rise of the AFD is causing policy shifts in other parties that are not necessarily good). And yes, we both know that D/F haven't left the EU yet (dare I mention "Frexit", though?).
