Here's the thing: most books that are banned don't make the lists that get circulated each #BannedBooksWeek. If you're a book creator and your book gets banned, please respond to this post with your book and its buy link on bookshop.org. That way we can support indies and banned books 💛

You don’t have to love every book you read—or even finish it. Libraries make room to disagree, discover, question, connect and choose for yourself. This #MIRightToRead Week, #BannedBooksWeek & #MILibraryMonth, we celebrate the freedom to explore. 💙 What does your library make possible?

Earlier this week, I agreed to interviews with two USA Today journalists. They wrote fantastic articles about the Cornell case that I'm proud to have been a part of. What I did not know is that their employer considers interviews to proprietary and opens up recordings to be used by any journalist.

My responses are 1) if you really believe a tech company isn't accessing your data anyway, I have a bridge to sell you; and 2) where did they get that data? They claim "approximately 1 million documents comprised of public and licensed human-written text," but I want deets.
