I was thinking about UMN’s Washington Avenue bridge, which used to have panels painted by student groups. I loved them. Sent pics of the nerdy ones to my (then) pre-college kids. This generation of students won’t even remember them. So here’s a great memorial/explainer racketmn.com/university-o...

Planning the 2030 Census is well underway, w/ unprecedented interference from Trump admin by, e.g., trying to affect who is counted, gutting ranks of nonpartisan civil servants & scientists, & shifting decisions to appointees. By law, Congress controls the Census & could protect it. If they cared.

The General Social Survey, American National Election Study, & Panel Study of Income Dynamics are funded by NSF-SBE. It's not just individual grants at risk. It's irreplaceable data infrastructure that provides nonpartisan, gold-standard info on who we are, where we've been, & where we are headed.

National Review writer apparently unaware that men also go to Planned Parenthood for STI testing and treatment and PrEP
Screenshot from National review:

The legislation is instructive in making clear something anyone who has spent time around Planned Parenthoods in the past few years is well aware of: They are not just about ending parenthood - I myself have seen plenty of men walk in without women, presumably for gender-transition help.

Two things can be true. 1) MNUFC invest in their roster at a bottom-third rate. Winning requires a good hit-rate on intl signings + good player development. 2) Even considering budget, El-Ahmad's marquee signing was a shirt-selling gimmick and his roster is worse than what he inherited in Nov 2023.
