shiny hunter who hates when people use ds flashcarts to shiny hunt instead of original carts not for elitist reasons but because sd card read speeds lower load times so soft resets are just barely faster so it speeds up hunts making shinies illegitimate in their eyes

it's basically the number one rule to any medium ; you can't just tunnel-vision and pigeon hold yourself into a corner. that niche may feel comfortable but it's stifling and prevents you from seeing "the bigger picture" in any sort of artistic/cultural context

I made shiny hunting better in all of the mainline Gen 1 games through the power of glitches! You can shiny hunt wild Pokemon! You can see a wild mon's sparkles! And you can see if a Pokemon is shiny on the summary screen! No mods or patches required :> More info: github.com/aestellic/BB...

the context wasn't important

iPhone text bubbles. 1st line, blue bubble: "i ain't reading all that", 2nd line, blue bubble: "congrats on the shiny", 3rd line, blue bubble: "or sorry you phased". Underneath is a line with the Standard iPhone contact image with grey bubble that has typing dots.

We should all be yelling at our state officials about the complete insanity of posting vital emergency information *exclusively* on Twitter/X and/or Facebook in 2025. There is absolutely NO good excuse for this. Many, many people don’t use those platforms. Many never did.
