This is interesting. In Spain each degree has its own grade cutoff that you need to achieve. The stereotype is that most medicine and law students are from wealthy families, and this degrees tend to have quite a high cutoff

Teaching data science to economists must be super frustrating. The professor was like "...and that's how we improved cancer risk forecasts, potentially saving many lives" and the commens were "but that does not help us to get any casual relationship"
