#KOFtober repost number eight because I have nothing new and my thumb is still sprained but I wish to assert my dominance as an artist in this fandom: My KOF team -- but make them casual and silly. #KOF #KingofFighters #King #BlueMary #MaiShiranui #CasualMaiMod #NoirKingMod #AlwaysCreditTheArtist

Blue Mary, King, and Mai posing together in a cheeky manner. All three are dressed in casual clothes. Mai and King's outfits are available as mods on GameBanana for KOF XV and COTW because I know how to design some good shit sometimes.

Be self-indulgent with your art. Just do it. Make that thing you think is too cringe to make. Whether people love it, or never even see it, just make it. Make what YOU want to make.

- and how that erasure in turns can warp that person themself. Not totally becoming the monster others say they are, but something that's different. Idk if that's the best wording of that concept, but I hope that makes sense.

And plus with the Wampus Cat folklore specifically, I personally found two different tellings of it. One where the Wampus Cat is a hero and saved her village, the other where she's cursed and a feral monster. With Catori, I want to explore that. How the truth about a person gets erased with fear -

I thought I was the only one who knew about the Wampus Cat folklore!!! That's so cool that you know it to!!!! I LOVE FOLKLORE YEAAAAAAAH Yeah you're absolutely welcome to make her look realistic, it's always exciting to see something you've made and see others take a stab at it ( :

Since Deadlock's been on me and my friend's mind lately, I decided to take a stab at redesigning Vyper since I've heard she's likely to get a redesign in the future. Figured I'd take my own stab at it, hope you like it! #deadlock #vyperdeadlock

A visual redesign of Vyper from Deadlock that takes inspiration from Spiny Bush Viper Snakes

The Lettered notes are as follows:
A. Purple Mouth with sheathed fangs
(purple stands out from warm color
palette)
B. Large flat horns
(Vyper's key visual trait,
emphasizes danger)
C. Standing scales with black and
yellow colored tips (ties to real snakes,
emphasizes danger/caution)
D. Long/Large lanky arms
(look rough and sleazy,
monster-esque and too
human)
E. Handcuff bracelet
(ties to prison background)
F. Black and Yellow prison shirt
(ties to prison background
and real snake
patterning)
G. Orange prison jacket
(ties to prison background)
H. Snake Fang Daggers
I. Baggy suspenders/ weapon holster
(ramshackle- improved clothes made
to fit snake body, tight on belt
and suspenders, loose on pants
J. False Legs ("legs" are smaller tails;
they take the form of legs when
walking and smoothen out when
slithering; three standing scales
visually read as toes/claws
K. Long thick tail (counter weight
to body, main tool for slithering

While running, the False Legs move floppily with strength (like a cartoon tentacle leg)
While slithering/sliding, the False Legs wrap around body while sliding/slithering to maintain snake silhouette

This is a Fan-Made Design, not an official Valve Design

Sofa rotting after a particularly heinous loss (iykyk). Btw, the pic of Mary on the phone screen was drawn by the always amazing @martinag.bsky.social. #KOF #KingofFighters #King #ArtofFighting #AlwaysCreditTheArtist

An injured King lies facedown on her sofa with a bottle of wine and her cellphone, which displays a photo of Mary drawn by ManaChan, on the coffee table. There are music notes indicating that the phone is ringing. Also, for funsies, Mary's ringtone is Killer Queen -- by Queen. Illustrated by thelexhex/illyrilex. Playing Digimon Cybersleuth and seeing the evolutions has me react in ways I never knew I could. There's a naked flesh baseball with arms and legs and I hate it so much I want to revive the Earth it walked upon to forgive this world of it's existence.

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

FA is a pillar of the furry fandom and they need our help! They are standing strong against the same puritan censorship that's creeping in everywhere on the net, and suffering for it. Sub to FA+ it's only $5/month, and consider donating to their first annual funding drive!

In regard to FurAffinity being at risk due to censorship: Furries are now political targets. We are getting namedropped at high levels of government. They know that we are a large, influential, largely queer, community. Fighting for the spaces owned by our community is incredibly important
