One of the few series I couldn't put down. Read 3500 pages between the 7 books in about a month. Unreal.

Jim Redding @jimredding.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

I feel like a lot of the storylines could be handled a little more succinctly, deftly, or skipped entirely. I won't spoil things for any of the three people who read this who likely haven't read the books, but here's hoping many more seasons of the show, and hopefully they can stick the landing.

Finally finished the third compendium of Invincible, meaning I've read 'em all. Now that I have, I get why the show has taken so many creative liberties to sand down some of the rougher edges. It felt like these last fifty or so issues really jumped around playing with a lot of ideas, but...

- He must've learned about Buster choking (even though they don't show it) when he's having dinner at the same restaurant with Rita while trying to woo her My personal favorite was when I found the kid who falls out of the tree in the back of the hospital scene with the homeless man a few years ago

I truthfully just can't get over #Andor. Tonight's three episodes just hit too close to home, and if they can hit that shot from a galaxy far, far away... Damn. Generational talent. If it can land the x-wing next week, easily deserves a place on the Mount Rushmore of TV. I'm floored.

Super interesting! So even if some rolls or narrative are removed as they bog down the pacing, there's no middleground between Actual Play and a Produced/Scripted Program. Seems like that could become more of a grey area as time goes on, and shows like WBN and Slayer's Take get more popular.

Would you say Worlds Beyond Number/The Wizard, The Witch, and The Wild One counts as AP? Or does the production move it into some other, quasi-AP realm?
