Very good thread here. Remember how demoralized we were in 2004 when we just knew Bush wouldn't get a 2nd term. Last year (and as recently as 2 months ago) DEMS led the generic ballot by +14 points and +16 points. How are they only leading by half of that in this current environment??

10 months ago, Marist Poll had Dems ahead by +14%
