3 panel comic titled “Logging into Bluesky”

Panel 1:
A Pink Guy bursts into Bluesky wearing a t-shirt that says “Fun”. His little face looks so happy.

Panel 2:
Six Bluesky users turn to look at the Pink Guy. They all look dour and angry because they have been overdosing on the discourse. Having the current state of the world mainlined into their veins for 22 hours a day has left them real grumpy.

Panel 3:
Pink Guy slowly removes his t-shirt and quietly says “sorry”. He won’t soon forget that Bluesky is the home of Serious Discussion. If he wants “Fun” maybe he should log into the Barney the Dinosaur forums.

Someday when I’m walking during my lunch break I won’t see any vehicles using the Empire Street bike lane as a turning lane or to park. You know where this is going: today is not that day.

'tis the season* in Boston! Mind your vehicle height on Storrow Drive/Soldiers Field Road and Memorial Drive. Here's my map of some popular locations to sardine-tin the roof of your truck. (*'tis not the season. There is no season. The whole thing about students being to blame is a myth!)
A map of "Storrowing" crashes where over-height vehicles strike overpasses or signs on Storrow Drive, Soldiers Field Road, and Memorial Drive in Boston and Cambridge, Massachusetts. Each overpass and sign has dots indicating the number of crashes at that location, and there is also a timeline showing crashes by date, which are spread throughout the year, with no particular concentration around university move-in dates.

In the 1780s and 90s George Washington kept his Philadelphia-based household staff enslaved despite Pennsylvania’s gradual abolition laws by trafficking them out of the state and back into the state to reset the clock every 6 months despite the fact that he had publicly supported the laws.

When my wife did chemo and radiation, she would go outside once or twice a day and shed the hair as it all fell out. Today, seven months later, we just found a nest a bird (likely a wren) made out of her hair.

i was reminded that i made a helpful tool if you're somebody who files FOIA requests for email logs (as a spreadsheet) upload them to GraphEmails.com and you can generate network graphs of who's emailing each other, which you can style and filter (or use to filter the log)
screenshot of GraphEmails.com shows a network graph of email recipients as colorful dots, with a list of domains on the right side and a sidebar on the left with options to filter, style, and analyze the graph

The second Biscuit Makers' Union poster follows the workers of biscuit making from "from field to tummy." This journey is depicted literally in the poster: starting with farm fields, through harvest, and production.
A cat poster in the style of an old soviet poster. Two cats, a farmer and a baker, shake paws with the arms outstretched toward the representations of their occupations. In the background a visual path is made starting in fields and farms, through a factory, and finally to trucks and and a biscuit shop at the bottom of the poster. Text at top reads "International Brotherhood of Biscuit Makers and Allied Trades" at bottom reads "From Field to Tummy - Building Better Biscuits." A logo of the union is in the lower corner.
