It may be unjust that USMNT got special treatment from FIFA, on the other hand, what did you expect from FIFA? Also, the red card was unjust to begin with, so maybe a better system to correct injustices is warranted? The injustice is that FIFA screws all & is screwing US less, and that is unfair.

A lot of the media has messed up in describing all of these folks who are observing as protesters, they’re neighbors who quickly come out of their homes to document ICE presence knowing that their privilege is the only thing possibly standing in the way of a neighbor being disappeared or brutalized.

First run in 3 months. On my 8th affliction of 2025: Pneumonia (1/25), cold (2/25), cold (6/25), Plantar Fasciitis (6/25-7/25), COVID (8/25), tonsillitis (9/25), plantar wart (9/25-11/25), and another mild cold (10/25). After getting almost nothing in 2023-2024 and running 2500 miles! Slow start.

Hennepin County Property Tax statement arrived for 2026. Up a whopping 10%. Worse than that… The School District portion is only going up 3.6%, while City of Minneapolis is up 13.6%! Meanwhile our teachers in public schools in Minneapolis have to go on strike every 3 years.

I suspect *strongly* I have bacterial bronchitis based on past experience with viral vs. bacterial coughs and the fact my 10yo just had a bacterial lung infection clear up. PA thinks otherwise. Now I’m stuck coughing for a few more weeks on an inhaler instead of days to see if this can clear up. 😷
