Miami Marlins update: Both Kyle Stowers (3-4 weeks, hamstring) and Estuery Ruiz (6-8 weeks, oblique) will begin the year on the IL. Griffin Conine, who was borderline, will now certainly make the Opening Day roster and get a real shot at playing time. Really stinks for Kyle, but he’ll be back.
