I’ve always wanted to do this song at karaoke, I think I could crush it, but I’m terrified of 2 minutes at the beginning of the song with just piano and no vocals

Yankees are only carrying 10 pitchers right now. Far from running out of arms, they're blowing the Red Sox out of the water right now, having only used five of their available pitchers. Some incredibly intelligent and sexually magnetic man wrote about this recently

Jameis Winston is now the New York Giants’ starter. He’s far from a goofball hero though

The quarterback is widely adored on and off the field. Whether he deserves the public spotlight is another question

I’ve seen multiple complaints about MLB spreading the games out throughout the day, seemingly implying that the games should overlap more, and I think this is crazy!

Famous Mets fans The Strokes have to be livid that they used “Someday” on the broadcast for a Yankees highlight.

The fact that he just became a thing last season and looks like a small child makes it very hard to believe that Ben Rice will already be 28 next season.

Spencer Jones being exactly as overmatched as I expected him to be but ONLY against righties is one of the weirder storylines of the season

Man I really thought the Lynx were gonna be a problem once Napheesa Collier got healthy, but it’s just been a little awkward every time I’ve watched them. Crazy talent, but reintegrating a player like Phee mid-season just hasn’t quite worked.

the horrific cornell gang rape case has me thinking about emma sulkowicz who alleged she was raped as a student at columbia in 2014 and never got any justice. it has me thinking about the physical and mental weight young women are forced to carry while their safety is subsumed by male potential.

Payton Tolle will be a main character in this Red Sox-Yankees series. And what a character he is. - The Boston Globe

A year ago, Tolle was just a rookie reliever in the postseason. Now, he'll likely lead Boston's rotation in New York.

All told, ended up winning an NFC Gladiator league and a smaller home league, and I made the playoffs in all of my H2H points leagues. But finished 8th or lower in the rest of my Roto leagues. Need to reconfigure my pitching strategy, gonna do some deep dives on that in the coming weeks.

Jake Bauers really slashed .268/.389/.484 over a full Major League Baseball season. There was a year in which Jake Bauers was second in the National League in wRC+. This actually happened.
