I was looking at metrics at my (admittedly New Zealand) University recently, and I can make a very strong case that most of the research code being written here is ATM in R, and it is the Linga Franca of evidence discussions (where speed is not the optimisation, understanding of method is)

I created a new large language model called Bev. You give Bev a list of dinner options and it returns equal probability for all. It then asks you which you prefer, and when you pick one it then discloses a preference for another one.

A horizontal bar chart comparing AI models' performance on the bluffbench eval. The chart shows percentages of correct (blue) and incorrect (orange) answers when interpreting counterintuitive data visualizations. The best score across all models is Fable 5 (Medium thinking), around 72%. The second best scores is Gemini 3.5 Flash (High thinking), around 60%. Without thinking enabled, most models cluster around 25%.
