Day 3: Heroes on the Run
2 of wands
This card means leaving home, planning, making hard decisions, leaving one's comfort zone, and taking risks. Edgar stands holding a globe (exploration, ambition: opening himself to leave Figaro and venture out into the world). He is looking off into the distance (originally at mountains, here at sand dunes, symbolizing obstacles and distant plans; scheming Kefka is another obstacle, as is protecting Locke and Tina [Terra]). Edgar is making the decision to act on publicly aligning with the Returners and taking a stand against the Empire. The wands in a standing position touching the ground as well as the castle represent stability. In the Rider-Waite deck, the figure wears red and orange to represent enthusiasm for life and hunger for adventure; here Edgar embodies the colors of Figaro and the desert (gold for the sand and blue for the sky).](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:dsg665xd2p77cqbxe2sash47/bafkreiddudfawmcajtrliymiobymcznh7m2joi3xbobinatbcjrgn4zexu)
