Essentially the triple lock is a guarantee that the State Pension will increase by 2.5% each year, even if wages and inflation are below this as happened for about a decade in the 2010s. It was brought in in response to the 2005 Pensions Commission, which found that it had fallen staggeringly low.

Drawing on the HP knowledge that I've tried to expunge from my brain, Cho Chang first appeared in the third book published in 1999. Not only were books a rather well established medium for research at this point, the internet existed and was available to use for free in libraries in the UK.

Last time I had an eye test, my egg had recently cracked and I was in the very early stages of planning my transition, but still went about my life presenting as a man. Today I had my eyes tested, was gendered correctly throughout and the glasses they inevitably tried to upsell me were for women.
