Twin Cities, MN people, I am gathering interest for a new video game/moving image music orchestra that will be paid per-service. In the future, we’re also potentially making this a recording orchestra for soundtracks. Fill out the survey below if interested! docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F... (1/2)

Swear to god, ICE could just announce they're leaving a city but not leave and the media will just stop covering that city completely even though ICE never left. It's what ICE and the media did with LA and they're doing it with Minneapolis too

The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.

A meme with a ghost trying to scare a person by saying “Boo!” and not succeeding. In the bottom right frame, the ghost tries to scare the person with an alto clef and succeeds. The person yells out, “Ahhhh!!!”

today is National Library Workers Day, and i am asking you to support library workers by -using your library (it matters!); -defending library workers against the ongoing efforts to intimidate, silence, and criminalize them; -advocating for better pay for them. 📚

What is National Library Workers Day?
NLWD is a day for library staff, users, administrators and Friends groups to recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers.

On January 25, 2003, a resolution was proposed:
That in order to recognize the hard work, dedication, and expertise of library support staff and librarians that the Tuesday of National Library Week be designated National Library Workers Day; and, that on that day, interested library workers, library groups, and libraries should advocate for better compensation for all library workers and, if the day coincides with Equal Pay Day, these individuals, groups, and libraries should recognize both days together.
