This has been an absolute blast! I will miss the people, place, and constant excitement from this experience! So honored to be on a panel with @musicologess.bsky.social, @eightbitaria.bsky.social, and Sarah at Save the Games 2026 at the Strong National Museum of Play! Will hopefully be back again! 🎮

The launch of the University Minnesota’s Video Game Collection is today! Over one year of planning and consulting resulted in this launch. Thankful to everyone who has given advice on starting this, and hopeful it gets past pilot for it to remain permanent! 🎮

Traveled back in time. Back from the most memorable trip to Japan. Can’t wait to go back.

Your last saved meme is your moral philosophy

A meme with a ghost trying to scare a person by saying “Boo!” and not succeeding. In the bottom right frame, the ghost tries to scare the person with an alto clef and succeeds. The person yells out, “Ahhhh!!!”

@ryfolk.bsky.social probably won’t post about this here, but in the midst of all the bad news lately, I am so excited to know and introduce Associate Professor Ryan! Congratulations; he has worked so hard for this!

First MAGFest (Music and Games Festival) was phenomenal thanks to all these people! ❤️🎮🎶 I got to see some performances, panels, and meet tons of new people. I also got to jam a lot, which was extremely fun! Will hopefully make it back next year!

What a great way to spend my birthday last Friday! I got to play video game music with the Twin Cities Gamer Symphony Orchestra and got to see all the hard work done by my fellow officers and me come to fruition. I even got happy birthday played to me by an orchestra for the first time! 😂

Panel done! ✅ So good to share the stage with these people (missing you Myrna, @brohannesjahms.bsky.social, and Steven). They had such good insights, and it was awesome engaging everyone in the audience!

Looked to see how long I needed to wait to check out Super Mario Wonder from the public library, and my goodness, 136 holds!

Library catalog search results of Super Mario Brothers Wonder for Nintendo Switch. It says that all copies are in use with 136 holds on 10 copies.
