I only have two versions of Fable Legends, but it looks like the last version Lionhead released patched one of the bug that gave me issues with the earlier build (that I started with, because I had more success with it). I would like to think that they were thinking of us.

Just to add to this conversation, with metadata like this you really need to consider your audience. What is going to be useful and help make collections findable for your target audience? For the general public, "beta" or "prototype" does well enough, but for a developer the same might not be true.

For being 10 years since its cancellation, and being designed to run on OG Xbox One hardware, Fable Legends is still phenomenal looking, especially with today's OLED screens.

"Prototype" is not used by devs as a catch-all for any non-retail build. It's reserved for earliest stab at a concept. There MIGHT be a "prototype" build that happens in the transition from pre-production to production, but more often you're prototyping features or mechanics, not builds.

One of the neat things with Fable Legends is that it was designed for hard drives. So with a modern SSD, you actually hear the game start playing in the background before the splash screens are even done.

He was very complete, and had no customization options, but at least he was in the game? Though to be fair, I havent been working with the last version of the game, maybe he got updated (started with a slightly older version that I had more success with over the years...)

Got bored while waiting on some feedback for my previous SG piece, made a quick demo to show that SG visually really compatible with the Metal Slug style. The following are sprites edited from existing characters in the series, SG character name on top, source character name on the bottom.
