E.M. Anderson's The Keeper of Lonely Spirits: "An old man cursed with immortality hunts ghosts rather than making mortal friends who will die one day. When residents of an Ohio town beset by a vengeful spirit adopt him as their own, he must decide: leave to protect his heart, or stay to save their lives?" The Keeper of Lonely Spirits's paperback cover features a lonely cottage with red smoke blasting from the chimney, surrounded by headstones with red mist twisting between them, against a starry night sky. Paperback and text are against a blurred image of a dandelion clock with seeds drifting away.

E.M. Anderson's The Lord of the Wood: "When lonely clockmaker Arthur Throckmorton loses his way in an enchanted forest, he meets the hero of his childhood bedtime stories: the Lord of the Wood.
