I never understood this. If you picked 10,000 people at random maybe 10 would know who Piker is. Maybe. Republicans attack like this because they are toxically online and think everyone else is too. Democrats join in because they reflexively act in fear of any Republican attack no matter how stupid.

I think a lot about Biden/Garland keeping David Weiss on as US Attorney, because they didn't want to meddle with the Hunter probe. And then Garland elevating Weiss to special counsel so he could convict Hunter. And this having ZERO IMPACT on the GOP certainty that Biden was rigging the DOJ

Trans people don’t need to be told how bad things could get because things have gotten MUCH worse for us very quickly and we know our history. That’s not all the public needs. “I see how hard you are fighting to protect your children and friends and neighbors and I will join you” is a great message!
