Hall of Echoes - for Magic: The Gathering's Reality Fracture This painting took me quite some time to wrap my head around. The description my art director Sarah Wassell sent me was very abstract and hard to visualize, but I'm very happy with how this turned out in the end.

Runner design for event in JakeTheAlright's #Marathon community server, winning best group submission! Worked with @mekaniqdev.bsky.social on the lore and ability design. Think it came out great, I felt real smart when I thought of using the pixel pattern to emulate laces on the boots 😌 #gamedesign

Her upper half has a knee-length light coat with decorative text and graphics, including plus signs up the torso in place of double breasted buttons and QR code-like squares in each lower tail corner. It has a very tall thick collar, taller on one side and open in the front. One arm has a cubic pauldron and a long loose sleeve, the other is sleeveless showing a dark tight underlayer. On the right hip is a boxy utility pouch.
Her hair-mold is like a chin-length spikey bob covering one eye, dark on top and purple inside. She has pure blue sclera and glowing pupils. Dark graphics under one eye and her lower lip. Her legs feature a checker pattern around the upper thighs, robotic hinged knees and lower legs that look like thick-soled platform boots. A checker graphic runs up the shin reminiscent of laces, and a cubic design around the ankles.

The Bullfrog, a large, stout, flat-headed mecha. It has a spherical lower torso reminiscent of a large pot belly, with a curved seam running along it implying it opens to a cockpit. Scratched and dented, mismatched colours from replaced panels, and covered in graffiti. One arm is heavily armoured and spiked, with a spread-eagle bird emblem and the acronym HRF on its shoulder, signaling its allegiance with the Hearth Revolutionary Forces. the other holds a large hammer over its shoulder. The hammer's head is shallowly spiked like a meat tenderiser, there is a large piston in the rear and a smoking vent on the side. Ribbons and talismans hang from the end of the shaft. Graffitied slogans read "Break the wall", "Free Hearth Now", and "Number 1 Corp Kicker".

The last of 8 Hearth-7 homebrew mechs, the Nagaoi! This little guy rides allies around, slinging helpful effects while gumming up the works for hostiles. This has been an excellent project and I've learned a lot! The last tweaks and final LCP should be done soon. #Lancer #LancerRPG #mecha

A slim frog-like mecha with extra, spidery arms, in an athletic hunched pose on all fours looking off to the side. It has a striking 2-tone colour scheme - the head and forearms are a vibrant red, with the rest a charcoal black, the HRF colours. The separation is scribbly, and it is decorated with graffiti.
Its head is wide and flat with an organic shape, dominated by 3 large front-facing eyes - 2 at the edges of the face and one at the centre. There is also a 4th inset into the centre top of the head, pointing up. A thin medium-length antenna is on each side of the back of the head.
Its hunchback torso has extra armour plates along the back, and a scratched shiny windshield in front, indicating the pilot lies inside. In front is a small bull bar to protect it. Attached to its side is a thin upraised gun barrel of a glue gun. Two long antennae sweep back from the upper back.
Its organic-shaped main arms and legs look like slender toned muscle. Large hands and feet give a strong frog impression, as the digits end in big circular pads. Each pad has a yellow ribbon cable, which along with the metallic colour imply they are electromagnets. Thicker round cables wind up the forearm to plug in the inside of the elbow.
On the outside of each shoulder are 2 more thin arms each, slightly longer than the mains, ending in tiny 2-fingered hands. The right pair rest lightly in front, and the left are raised, prepared for action.
Graffii: On the upper back is "Passenger Princess", referencing its role riding allies around. Lower back armour plate, various thank you messages scrawled in different colours: Best Teammate, IOU, Thanks!, a heart, Lifesaver!, and 5 star support. Back head: bubble lettered word FROG, and the kanji for spider above one eye. A spider-limb forearm has "No-one left behind", and on a shin is "Hop 2 it!"
