Hall of Echoes - for Magic: The Gathering's Reality Fracture This painting took me quite some time to wrap my head around. The description my art director Sarah Wassell sent me was very abstract and hard to visualize, but I'm very happy with how this turned out in the end.

Interesting, I've felt that malaise at times but more due to the sheer volume of games that release now, and genre concentration. To me AI is easy to just not use, audience hates it, and there's still appreciation for quality, heartfelt, human. Whether it gets attention or support vs just a 👍 tho...

Congratulations on being correct :) There's some logic where since diagonal spaces count as adjacent, vertical diagonal distance always ends up being the greater of either distance or height. Can't fully put the reasoning together rn but it's easy to play with!

Runner design for event in JakeTheAlright's #Marathon community server, winning best group submission! Worked with @mekaniqdev.bsky.social on the lore and ability design. Think it came out great, I felt real smart when I thought of using the pixel pattern to emulate laces on the boots 😌 #gamedesign

Her upper half has a knee-length light coat with decorative text and graphics, including plus signs up the torso in place of double breasted buttons and QR code-like squares in each lower tail corner. It has a very tall thick collar, taller on one side and open in the front. One arm has a cubic pauldron and a long loose sleeve, the other is sleeveless showing a dark tight underlayer. On the right hip is a boxy utility pouch.
Her hair-mold is like a chin-length spikey bob covering one eye, dark on top and purple inside. She has pure blue sclera and glowing pupils. Dark graphics under one eye and her lower lip. The Bullfrog, a large, stout, flat-headed mecha. It has a spherical lower torso reminiscent of a large pot belly, with a curved seam running along it implying it opens to a cockpit. Scratched and dented, mismatched colours from replaced panels, and covered in graffiti. One arm is heavily armoured and spiked, with a spread-eagle bird emblem and the acronym HRF on its shoulder, signaling its allegiance with the Hearth Revolutionary Forces. the other holds a large hammer over its shoulder. The hammer's head is shallowly spiked like a meat tenderiser, there is a large piston in the rear and a smoking vent on the side. Ribbons and talismans hang from the end of the shaft. Graffitied slogans read "Break the wall", "Free Hearth Now", and "Number 1 Corp Kicker".
