Subways after dark: London, Tokyo, Warsaw & Rome.

London : Station entrance of Piccadilly Circus, glowing in deep indigo shadows, stairs leading downwards drawing the eye into a quiet urban underworld.

Tokyo: A lone figure descends into violet-blue subway light in Shinjuku, framed by geometric tiles and cinematic contrast. The colored light is achieved by a plastic gel over the flash on the camera.

Warsaw: Electric-blue escalator tunnel stretching into infinity, illuminated like a futuristic corridor of stars. A man descends the escalators on the far right of the frame. treated myself to an early 50th present: the russian big muff. it's my third muff and i cycle them in like plugins. also alternate the two 'waza' pedals and the rat / od3. good way to keep things fresh! i swear i've got enough now tho....

bonus: some earlier video games my brother and I made out of paper. You could stick thin strips of carboard through openings that allowed one person to control monsters / objects draw on the end, and the other to control the player.
