Saturday was our day to fly home, but our flight wasn’t until later in day. So we stored our luggage at Ueno station, and went back to Tsukiji market in search of much better sushi than we had the night before. We wound up at a quiet counter tucked in one of the alleys, and it was fucking amazing!

After returning the car in Takasaki, we took the commuter line back to our place in Shinjuku. That night we went up to Ikebukuro and got the most mid conveyer belt sushi ever, then went to the gay bar area of Shinjuku to hang out at a furry bar for a while.

Here’s pics from the final 2 days in Japan! Friday we started in Ueda, and headed back to Takasaki to return our rental car. On the way we took some super windy roads following a stream up/down the mountains. It was crazy spending like 2 hours of that drive without seeing another car on the road.

Yesterday we spent the whole day driving on super twisty mountain roads between Gunma and Nagano. We got soba for lunch east of Nagano City, and visited a big Shinto shrine in Togakushi. Dinner was at an Izakaya down the street from our hotel in Ueda, and we walked the castle ruins after.

The last 2 days we have been driving around the mountains northwest of Tokyo! Wednesday night we stayed at a very nice traditional Japanese ryokan in Kusatsu, relaxed in the onsen, and had an amazing dinner.

Tonight’s adventure was back down to Shibuya to see when it’s like when it’s not typhooning :P While down there we went through Tower Records, and grabbed dinner/drinks next to Miyashita Park.

Just got back to the AirBnB after a long day out! We hit up Tsukiji Market for lunch, then up to Tokyo Skytree to go to a knife store. Then we walked to Sensoji, toured the temple, and continued to Ueno, before taking the train back to Shinikubo.

More M3 updates! Last week it went to a friends place to get a full 2 step polish, and ceramic coat. There’s definitely spots where you can still see the age/milage, but given that caveat it looks fucking amazing! It’s soooooo rewarding seeing where this car started, and how it is now :3

I’ve been doing a ton of work on the M3 over the last few weeks. I’m prepping it for a full polish + ceramic tomorrow, and yesterday got a new set of wheels/tires on! Just the wheels alone change the look soooo much, and with the new tire sizes it should be a completely different car on track :3

This past few weeks have been absolutely jam packed, but super awesome :3 Started with Furrydelphia trip with Rachel. We brought Robin down to stay with my parents, which was his first time staying overnight with family. They had a fun few days, and Rachel and I had a blast at the con :3

This past weekend I took the Multistrada on its first real touring trip! @ori.is.dog @kinter.deer.place and I rode up to Lake Placid Friday, explored the area Saturday, and swung around Lake George on the way home Sunday. That was by far the most riding I’ve done in a weekend! (15hrs, 750miles)

Went to Crow Hill MX after work today! That track is always a challenge. It’s really hard to find a good flow there, but it has elements you don’t find at a lot of other tracks. The my first moto was super slow, but by the 3rd moto I set a PB by about 2.5 seconds :3

Song 9: In My Life by the Beatles With this one I wanted to practice singing and playing at the same time, and getting a decent sounding vocal. I experimented with mic positioning, and some gain/volume settings to get a bit of compression, in order to get a bit better vocal sound here.

This past Saturday @awkwardrdragon.bsky.social, Robin and I had a super fun outing to Southwick to watch Pro Motocross! We got to watch current stars Hunter & Jett Lawrence and Hayden Deegan, future stars Lucas & Sacha Coenen, and a living legend in Tony Cairoli. It was a great day!

Yesterday @ori.is.dog @kinter.deer.place and I went on long bike ride around mid New Hampshire. We stopped for beers around Sunapee, hit a sweet mountain road heading into the Whites, then stopped by Laconia Bike Week on the way home. By butt is sore from the bike, but it was a perfect day!
