I love when a project is in early stages. A lot of times I’ll try to squirrel away an early scene somewhere to come back to when the projects done, but 9/10 times so much has changed that it’s basically just a broken pink blob.

Hey Solo Game Developers, What is the ONE thing that you keep procrastinating on? I absolutely hate playtesting. I hate it so much. Especially since so much of my games are narratives, so I have to play through the same scenario over and over to make sure everything works.

Put together a lot for this building system recently! 3D building grid, item deletion, better controls, a few placeholder visuals and (my favorite) a save-and-load system! I doubt its the most elegant or efficient one possible, but my god its satisfying to watch it work. #Gamedev #Indiedev #Godot

a thing I enjoy about this era of level design is that you're in this weird era of fidelity between 90s labyrinth shooters and 00s realism*, so maps end up straddling the two to create an almost dreamlike suggestion of a space.
