She's at least real enough to have been given a wingnut welfare job with a group called Independent Women's Forum (originally "Women for Clarence Thomas". It's illegal to do gender-affirming surgery on a minor in Ohio, as the article clearly explains, which is why she had it done in Texas. Maybe it's Cruz's fault, but US senators don't make state law. The story is nonsense from start to finish, she's clearly hiding a good deal herself.

I guess the intention is to say even if you believe it's possible it didn't happen this time, but it is worth noting that it's impossible; what she alleges happened (double mastectomy after a 20-minute consultation) is totally not how it's supposed to be done, and not what Brown was talking about...

If I were to give to all the political candidates who solicit my donations, I'd be broke in a week. They are all good causes, but I've chosen to contribute only to my local candidates for Congress, the Senate, the state legislature and the governor. Seems like a fair strategy to me.
