One of my favorite people, one of my best friends, and an amazing old broad who I am lucky enough to also have as my grandma, turned 96 today. She was surrounded by her kids, grandkids & great grandkids while she feasted on my spread of quesadillas, tacos and lots of cake. What a perfect night.🍸🍸

I just watched the speech in Gander from former Canadian Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. Absolutely incredible. At 92, a bit wobbly and unsteady in appearance, but his words were honest, powerful and needed. I watched live on c-span, but well worth tracking down. Canada should be so proud.🍸🍸
