Jim Clark @jamineyc.bsky.social · 10/09/2026First Man. 2018. Rewatch. Man I do like this film. Some of the best realised flight/space sequences ever. I also love Howard's Apollo 13 but this is less Hollywood, more naturalistic and all the better for it. Chazelle is a fine, versatile director. #jimsfilmreviews 011

Jim Clark @jamineyc.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Like much modern Star Wars, they are making 'STAR WARS', when they should have a good story that happens to be in the SW world. But I could watch Grogu and the little puppet dudes get up to hijinks all day long. Still, will probably never watch again! 000
Jim Clark @jamineyc.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Mandalorian and Grogu. TV. The TV series was hit and miss, with Grogu being the best bits. It made the Mandalorians seem like cultish idiots, and had too much fan service, so if it ain't fixed...felt like a TV special, not a movie. #jimsfilmreviews 100
Jim Clark @jamineyc.bsky.social · 06/09/2026It's one of the aspects that puts me off electric cars. I'm in UK. I've tried an automatic once and I kept using the brake as the clutch. It did not go well! 210
Jim Clark @jamineyc.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Superman (2025). TV. Okay enough, nowt special. Definitely CGI fatigue sets in with these films. Don't like the suit. The Justice Gang were more interesting than Supes. Will probably never watch again. #jimsfilmreviews 000
Jim Clark @jamineyc.bsky.social · 04/09/2026@footballweekly.bsky.social bit late to the transfer talk. Saw a list of the British transfer records and it made me think, who was the last British record transfer that was genuinely the best at their role at that time? Shearer? Nistelrooy? Ferdinand? Because I don't feel it is Enzo Fernandez. 000

Jim Clark @jamineyc.bsky.social · 17/08/2026I think I saw an iv with Holland where it was his experience of working with Nolan that made him ask for more real sets/locations and for them to write a proper script. Often marvel has the big set pieces first that they link together, and they don't have the 3rd act locked in. And what dyaknow! 110
