So nearly a year after I played D&D with @aabria.bsky.social, I had my first session zero as a DM at an all BIPOC table (and all femmes, no less). It went really well, and I'm excited for my journey as a GM and getting more of us into roleplaying via oneshots.

Omigod, this is the most heartwarming story possible! Backpack (bear 89) is the son of the 2019 winner of Fat Bear Week, Holly (bear 435). In 2007, he injured his foot & a practice of riding on momma's Holly's back had a new meaning: he was mobility-restricted while it healed. So Holly moved him.

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.

I don't like hurting people or getting hurt because someone constantly moves the boundary goal posts. And it's usually me who gets hurt because I grew up as a damn doormat. I can't do that anymore. So instead, I'm working on being honest when I can't meet needs or don't have the capacity to.

I feel like with all my recent new friends I've had to remind them that when they set a boundary with me, my autism follows shit to the letter, and will hold friends accountable to them.
