I'm guessing this is the right forum to ask for this advice - I have a family member recovering from an operation, and they're going to be laid up for a while. They really like board games - is there a way to play remote/asynchronous games? Like correspondance chess, but for board games.

Have discovered an excellent use for AI. I recently needed to submit 70+ nearly identical support tickets. AI handled the entire process flawlessly, giving me the time and space to sob at my lot in life.

Pope Innocent III,who died in 1216, spoke of a certain kind of older man, who is "easily provoked", "will believe anything and question nothing", is "stingy and greedy" and "praises the good old days and hates the present." Reform UK's voter base has been knocking around for a very long time.

Showed this to a colleague. His comment was “F**k late stage capitalism”

Still not quite over the fact that I watched 15 year olds get sued for millions of dollars for downloading twelve songs and now we all have to accept AI slip because every tech company in the known universe decided that IP laws don’t exist now that they’re inconvenient for them

Am really enjoying The Day of the Jackal (1973 version). A proper European manhunt in a pre-digital/surveillance age. Plenty of harassed-looking men chain smoking. Great stuff.

So, I'm quite irritated by 1Password's leadership going all neo-con, fascist-but-don't-call-us-fascist. It's been one of the few software platforms that I've been happily using for years, and it's going to utterly suck to try and extricate myself. Still not sure what I'm going to replace it with.
