Superb thread full of facts and detail. I'll add that I am a Brit but moved to Poland back in 2019. The reason for this was 100% Brexit. I am part of a 'Brits in Poland' and over the last month publications like the Mail have been trying to get us to do interviews to fit their narrative like this.

Great thread, on this particular migration, and also on migration in general. Families are transnational. People make careers across countries. My ancestors, 2 or 3 generations, bounced all over the world! But somehow *that* all got coded as enterprise, ambition, and economic development.
