Wasn't sure how I'd feel about the USMNT in these windows coming off the Belgium game and how the WC ended, but watching these kids get to go out there and do their thing and some of the returnees like Freeman, Berhalter, etc. ball out was a ton of fun. Plus 4 wins from 4 is hard to argue with

I’m not sure there’s ever any topping the 98 Vikings, but the 23 Lions are a 1-seed “this might have been our only shot.” Campbell literally saying it really elevates it. Aside from MIN, not sure there’s another team that’s clearly above them.

The other thing that’s been a bit unspoken about psychologically is that consistently losing again and again is so damaging to state parties, voter participation, etc. There are lots of voters in Texas who refuse to believe a Democrat can ever happen.
