Video Games are for everyone. PERIOD. No matter what the color of your skin, gender, etc. Don't give any attention to the nobodys & grifters that say otherwise. They're not worth the time of day & just ignore their toxicity and bullshit. As long as you're having fun, that's all that matters. 😎🎮👍🏾

I saw Resident Evil on Thursday night. Not having seen anything by Zach Cregger, but knew about the general positive reception to his two previous horror movies, Barbarian, and Weapons, I was optimistic. Monday, we'll have my review of the film up on our site, stageselectstart.com #ResidentEvil

Well, that's a bit unfortunate, although after the last couple weeks of preorders for physical Switch 2 games, my bank account is quite relieved. #SteamFrame #WaitingList

Screenshot of an email from Valve regarding the waitlist for the Steam Frame. The email says that after the randomized waitlist placement, that my number was higher than the number of available Steam Frame units.

#LilysWorldXD by @sonderingemily.bsky.social was a day-one purchase for me after playing the demo earlier in the year. A really fun/disturbing interactive found device sim that nearly flawlessly recreates the feeling of an early 2000's computer desktop/laptop. All other games are now on hold.

A login screen for a fictionalized Windows OS: there's a clipart-style mouse that's segmented into the Windows OS blue, green, red, yellow quadrants. The background picture is a young girl holding her cat, who kinda looks like it would rather be somewhere else. The password area is blank.

The desktop background from the found laptop in the video game, lily's world XD. There are icon shortcuts for Email, Web, Maze Game, Save, Messenger, Study Guide, Secret Folder, Recycle Bin, Photos, Settings, Journal Folder, Audio, Notes, and a Calculator App. The background image is a pastel watercolor of bubble-like hearts in the lower right corner, coming up towards the middle of the screen.

A glitchy image from lily's world XD. In the near center of the screen is a dress-up game where the image is slightly distorted with the Red/Green/Blue colors offset, creating a blurry image, but only in the window of the Dress Up Game.

A screenshot of what a typical session playing lily's world XD looks like. There is a window open with a journal entry from the character Lily. There is a generic web browser open in the background with bookmarked icons in the window. There is a Messenger chat window partially covered by the window for Journal entries and the Notes app.

Spoiler Free: I'm at the endgame for Outer Wilds. 11 attempts last night, 7 attempts this morning, 3 attempts this afternoon. I'm really hoping that I'm missing something fundamental about the last area & that it's not a skill issue. It can't just be, "Go fast and hard [and hope for the best]."
