Hormones are treated like magic potions, and on the one hand they kinda are. Body/gender euphoria is a hell of an upper. But they're just molecules, and they don't actually change the person inside. That stuff comes from a lot of self reflection and inner work.

The thing with T (and I'm sure with any HRT) is that it turned up the nobs of attributes I already had. I think the problem with violence will remain a social one. American men are taught that violence solves problems, and men who haven't deconstructed that will continue to be violent.
