ICE's operations are clearly lawless and unconstitutional. They're illegal. The only way they are able to operate at all is with the direct support of state and local governments. Gavin Newsom should resign or be chased out of office with pitch forks, hot tar, and feathers.

The US claims to have captured a foreign head of state and have indicted him, and his wife, in a US court in New York-- that second part, the indictment, is not the norm for American presidents, who usually just kidnap, kill, torture, and illegally jail people on foreign soil to avoid US courts.

On twitter, i had blocked hundreds of thousands of accounts. My experience was great. Every time I ran into a tweet from a nazi, I would just use a chain block tool to block that account and every account that followed it. There are billions of people-- you don't have to worry about over-blocking.

Climate change forces us to reduce the amount of energy we are using. We must radically change our economy. We have to reduce the number of products and factories in the world, prioritize having enough food and shelter and clothes for everyone, and end capitalism. There is no capitalist future.

Torture is a feature of life in thousands of US jails and prisons. It’s often blamed on “guards,” but someone had to design this contraption, build it, plan its use, and run it up the chain of command. Judges and lawyers had to create a legal regime where this stuff pervades for decades.
