So - what do you think of me new bins? 🤓

This is a selfie. Behind me on my left are kitchen shelves, out of focus, with Fortnum and Mason biscuit tins on them. The tins contain tea bags but they match my décor. There is also a turquoise and silver Mathmos lava lamp. I am wearing a black v-neck t-shirt. My hair is blonde and messy and a bit of it is hanging over my left eye, so it partly covers the new glasses that I’m trying to show you. They are Vivienne Westwood, cat-eye shaped gold frames, with a black trim. I chose them because the (very regular) pub regular at my late Uncle’s favourite bar told me I reminded him of a young Vivienne Westwood. He met her in the 1960s, he said, and she was a “Dirty Wee Bag”. If you say it in a thick Scottish accent, it sounds like a charming compliment.

Went away for a couple of days and as usual, my cat is fucking livid. He started YELLING in the garden as soon as he heard the car pull up. Then he came in, refused to speak to me, then went back outside and YELLED some more. Furry little twat. 🐈‍⬛
