Don’t appreciate getting push ads from the Apple Store app and it’s especially irritating when you need it on for like when you go in for an appointment or send in a repair. Apple needs to crack down on everyone and REQUIRE apps let us choose to opt out of non-transactional notifications.

Look on the bright side, could be worse. It didn’t actually take that long to resilver but it did take quite awhile.

Text thread: I send a message containing output of ‘zpool status’ command showing a resilver in progress with an estimated completion time of over 26 days and say “welp”. If you're concerned about this you shouldn't be sending video off to the cloud at all. Once your data is up there, there may be residue after deletion. It can be accessed or stolen. There's no guarantees. It's why we should all be concerned about these cloud-based neighborhood surveillance networks.

The new numbers icon may as well be a big middle finger. The old app constantly tells you to delete itself and get the new app. The new app is full of up sell prompts for the subscription anytime you try to use feature that requires it (which of course you can't tell before hand). Fuck off Apple.
