The term was intentionally muddied by the AI propaganda. Not long ago, AI was just some form of algorithm. And a lot of things that are now marked as AI are still just that, but then there's the new AI built on theft, stealing our resources, and ruining our arts and culture that uses the same term

I like how he doesn't answer the accusation with a definitive trans or cis. He simply speaks about her using she/her because if he clarified which label would apply, it would be tacitly accepting that it matters when his whole point is that it doesn't matter.

I sincerely hope that somehow a court case somewhere will rule that companies *must* provide the option to own. A game is not a service. Sure, access to the game host is a service, but the game is not. The game is a discrete product. I need to be given the option to keep the product I purchased.

I learned to ask some version of, "What is the desired result here?" Instead of just following the instruction, but it took a lot of trial and error to find the script and tone that was accepted.

It is a problem, and one of our society's own making. The models that men have for interaction are competition with men and sex with women. Other types of interactions are deemed unmanly. Some men have actively pulled out of that paradigm (or been forced out by people around them), but most haven't.

Further disconnecting from other humans will not "solve male loneliness." Human connection, genuine psychological/emotional/mental connection, is the only solution for loneliness. We solve male loneliness when we stop teaching men that connection is weakness.

My pcp at my last annual physical asked for consent to allow AI to take the notes. He then noted that people are less communicative with him when they give consent. It has made note-taking easier and made his ability to help people harder. But guess which one the hospital network cares about more.

I am very picky about the flavor of my water. I can't stand many tap waters or bottled waters. Certain mineral or chlorine content makes me sick to taste it. I mapped my city's treatment cycle based on the taste of the tap water.

It's still baked into their training along with racism. Because of the context of medical studies and training, it is not enough for a doctor to passively not be misogynistic or racist, they have to actively remove it from medical habits in order to make a difference.

It does. I've been out of work for a couple months now. At first it was needed. Now I just feel empty, and getting a job is very hard because my skillset is exactly what they're trying to replace with AI.

Every gets to say no at any time. That also applies to consenting to contining a relationship. Relationships are interactive, and when done properly are a net benefit for all parties. If a relationship irrevocably stops being a net benefit, it is reasonable to end it.

There's also a difference that better consent education would teach. "Don't want to" is used for two different things. There's "I am opposed to it right now" vs "I wouldn't seek it but have no objection internally." Culture tries to convince people that the first is just the second being selfish.

Not shutting up about disability accessiblities became part of my brand at my last job. I was known as the guy with the reference resources to help when someone needed accomodations. I like to think there are several people that I helped actually keep their jobs without burning out.
